On March 20, Professor Liu Fan's themed art healing exhibition named "Soul Folds" -- Les Plis in Mind: The Art Therapy Project opened at the Art Space of Wuhan. Her five works including "My Mood Dictionary" and "My Stars, My World" will be displaying for a period of one month.
During the lockdown of Wuhan in 2020, the unknown of the epidemic and the individual's helplessness caused Liu Fan to experience a spiritual test of life and death. "Extreme fear is like an endless abyss, devouring my consciousness, and my soul is wrapped in fear full of wrinkles. I try to heal myself with artistic creation." Since there is no painting material, Liu Fan picked up the common items in the house and used it. Needlework and Photo Album have made a spiritual healing art creation of facing the fear and unfolding the folds.
