Born in October 1965, he is now vice-chairman of Hubei Provincial College Students’ Ideological and Political Education Association as well as Executive Director of Mental Health Education and Research Association for College Students. After graduating from Wuhan Institute of Textile Technology, he also acquired a master’s degree of economics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 1999. From 1988 to 1999, he was engaged in teaching and scientific research in the Textile Teaching and Research Department of Wuhan Textile University (formerly Wuhan Institute of Textile Technology and Wuhan Institute of Science and Technology). In 1999, he was transferred to administrative work, successively acting as secretary of Youth League Committee, secretary and vice-dean of Vocational Education Institute as well as Adult Education Institute, director of Department of Students’ Enrollment& Employment, and director of administration office, secretary of party committee. For a long time, he has been engaged in teaching research of new weaving equipment and techniques, management of ideological and political education in colleges and universities, with qualifications for international career planning tutor, national first-class psychological counselor as well as presiding over 5 provincial/ministerial research projects. He has won 4 provincial/ministerial awards, with more than 30 academic papers published and edition of one textbook.
