Born in November 1966, he continued his study Huazhong University of Science and Technology from 1996 to 1999, majoring in computer system structure with a MSC’s degree after graduating from Beijing Normal University in 1988 with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. He was then a visiting scholar to Auburn University, Alabama, from November 2010 to March 2011. After graduating from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in December 2011, he acquired a doctor’s degree majoring in computer system structure. From July 1988 to April 2002, he acted as a teacher of Wuhan Institute of Science and Technology, deputy director of Department of Computer Science, vice dean of School of Computer Science, vice director of Department of Educational Administration, director of Department of Educational Administration in Wuhan Textile University, director of Postgraduate Department, chief of Discipline Construction Office, Assistant President of WTU, etc. He is now a member of Standing Committee and Vice President of WTU. He has been engaged in computer-related research for a long time, presiding over Hubei Provincial Natural Science Foundation, Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Innovations Program, Key Projects of Hubei Provincial Education Department, teaching and research projects of Hubei Province. He has published more than 10 papers cited by EI, winning first and second prizes for Teaching Achievements of Hubei Province as well as first prize awarded for Teaching Achievements by Textile Industry Association and title for national excellent teachers in 2009.
