Brief Introduction of Fu Xin
Fu Xin, born in May 1969 in Wuhan, Hubei Province, is a distinguished professor and doctoral supervisor. He currently serves as the Vice President of Wuhan Textile University, a second-level professor, and a specially-appointed Yangguang Scholar. Professor Fu is also the academic leader of the provincial key discipline of Design at Wuhan Textile University, the overall person-in-charge of the "Fashion Creative Culture" key advantageous and characteristic discipline group under the Hubei Provincial Department of Education, and the leader of the Hubei Provincial Outstanding Middle-aged and Young Scientific and Technological Innovation Team.
Professor Fu Xin's research primarily focuses on design theory and its applications in environmental design, interior design, and the preservation of modern historical buildings. In recent years, he has led and completed several significant projects, including one funded by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, one provincial-level philosophy and social science planning project, one key research project in the humanities and social sciences, and seven government and enterprise-commissioned design projects, with a cumulative research budget of RMB 3.5 million. He has published over 30 research papers in domestic and international core professional journals, and his design works have been selected for numerous domestic and international design exhibitions, earning multiple awards. Many of his research achievements have reached an advanced national level.
In terms of teaching, two of his teaching research achievements won the second and third prizes of the Seventh and Eighth Hubei Provincial Higher Education Teaching Achievement Awards, respectively.
