From November 6^th to 12^th, a deputation led by Tian Huiyu, the secretary of the party committee of WTU, paid a successive visit to Birmingham City University, St Edmund College, Claire Hall College, Wolfson College, Kingston University and EFREI, Paris. They communicated with the European university colleagues about pursuing friendship and cooperation, strengthening the development of international “circle of friends”, focusing on the construction of the international partnership layout and comprehensively deepening the formation of opening up educational system.

This is the first formal visit for WTU leaders to go abroad in the post-pandemic era. Through two-side discussing, visiting and researching as well as signing the agreements, we comprehensively enhanced the friendship between WTU, the European top universities and important cooperative partners, deepened the expansion of communication and cooperation in multiple fields, which have profound meaning in promoting the process of cultivating international talents and developing the sustainable progress of international cooperation in education. Standing in the new journey of building first-class discipline, WTU will continue to carry out the all-aspect opening up strategy unswervingly. Guided by the concept of building a community with a shared future for mankind, WTU will create the brand new chapter of mutual learning and win-win cooperation with universities around the world.
