On September 19^th, the closing ceremony of Seminar on Cotton processing, textile and trade for Developing Countries sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and hosted by Wuhan Textile University was held in the conference center of Southlake Campus of Wuhan Textile University. Twenty-three students from eight countries reviewed every memory of the seminar and witnessed the wonderful moment of completion.

The seminar lasted for three weeks, spanning Yichang, Wuhan, Jingzhou and Xi’an four cities, with a combination of thematic lectures and enterprise & culture visits, which imparts officials who were involved in this program the full range of Chinese advanced technologies in Textile industry as well as multi-dimensionally displays Chinese extraordinary traditional culture and the achievements of China’s modernization. At the same time, adhering to the concept of "mutual learning and win-win cooperation", WTU signed the memorandum of cooperation with Scientific-Research Institute of Fine-Stapled Cotton of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Cotton breeding, Seed production and Agrotechnologiyes Research Institute of Republic of Uzbekistan, which further consolidated and expanded the global cooperation network, providing a broader space for assisting the WTU international education and research.
