Recently international students for 2022 batch from fifteen countries and Chinese students visited Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Education, School of Technological Research, School of Computing and Artificial Intelligence, which was implemented according to “Understanding China and Connecting the World—International Youth Forum” held by Research Institute of International People-to-People Exchange for Textile Industry.

In the Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Education, international students got to know the process of some important scientific research achievements including Chinese national flag and Tianwen 1, with awe to the power of high technology and scientific and technological research strength of WTU. In the laboratory and classes of School of Technological Research, international students did experiment by themselves, which greatly aroused their interest in scientific research. In the School of Computing and Artificial Intelligence, international students of computer science major proudly introduced their own major to other students with enthusiasm.

This visit broadened their horizon and all the students had a deeper understanding of WTU’s key subjects and characteristic specialty. During the visit, Chinese and international teachers and students talked about topics including scientific research, innovation, development, future from the perspective of building a community with a shared future for mankind. This visit enhanced communication and cultural exchanges between international and Chinese youths. It also reached an agreement that we should study hard and bolster our professional knowledge to push forward human development.
