Recently, the symposium on the in-depth integration of medical textile materials was held in Wuhan Textile University. Vice Governor of Hubei Province, Xiao Juhua attended the symposium and delivered a speech.

Xiao Juhua fully affirmed the educational achievements of WuhanTextile University, praised that Wuhan Textile University has played a leading role in the field of discipline construction, talent cultivation and scientific research development of universities in Hubei Province.

Xiao Juhua pointed out that medical textile materials are widely used and have broad prospects, which is not only a new direction for the transformation and upgrading of the traditional textile industry, but also the platform suitable for people's new expectations for a better life. She emphasized that in terms of industry-university-research cooperation, WTU should adhere to carry out the deep integration of innovation chain and industrial chain, so as to enable high-quality development.

At the symposium, Li Jianquan, chairman of Winner Medical Group, donated 10 million US dollars to Wuhan Textile University, which is the largest donation in the history of WTU. On behalf of the university, Tian Huiyu, secretary of the Party Committee of the WTU, expressed her heartfelt thanks for her supporting the development of the alma mater. Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, president of WTU, Prof. Xu Weilin gave a speech with the title of “To create a deep integration of school-enterprise strategic partnership -- based on the industrial application of medical textile materials”. As an entrepreneur representative, Li Jianquan, chairman of Winner Medical Group and outstanding alumnus of WTU, made a speech with the title of "Hand in Hand, Together for the shared Future" .
