Recently, Professor Lin Li, head of International Division and dean of the School of International Education of WTU, was invited to Hubei Vocational College of Bio-Technology to give an academic lecture to international officers from Seminar on Eco-Agriculture Management for Developing Countries which was held by Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China. The speech, of which theme is “China dream from reform and opening-up to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation”, represents our successful exploration of the socialist road with Chinese characteristics and the great political practice of national rejuvenation by telling stories of Chinese people’s hard working to achieve our dream under the leadership of Communist Party of China.
Professor Lin intensively explained the core idea and era significance of Chinese concept such as “China Dream”, “The Belt and Road Initiative” and “a community of human destiny”. She told them that “China Dream” is the unity of the nation’s and people’s dreams and also is the world’s dream to have a harmonious relationship and work harder together. She encouraged them to always create thing in combination with their jobs and devote themselves to developing their own countries and helping foster the world’s peaceful development.
56 officers attending the seminar are from Asia, Africa, Latin America and some other countries of “The Belt and Road” such as Egypt, South Africa, Pakistan, Uzbekistan. After the lecture, they said Professor Lin provided a new perspective for them to know the history of the CPC and Chinese stories. They felt really happy, extended appreciation to the huge achievement we get from reform and opening-up and hoped we go smoothly on the road to the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation. As more and more international friends study further on the theory, system and cultural connotation of socialism with Chinese characteristics, this lecture widened the road to modernization for other developing countries and shared China’s wisdom and plans to countries who want to accelerate development and at the same time maintain their independence.
