Recently, good news from the Organizing Committee of the National English Competition for College Students (NECCS) revealed that Qie Weiyi, an undergraduate student majoring in environmental arts of our university won the Special Prize in the finals of NECCS held in Central China Normal University with her solid English language basics and comprehensive application ability. 8 WTU undergraduate students won the first prize. Gu yingying, a postgraduate student, won the first prize of band A, who was the first graduate student to win the first prize in the NECCS. 49 students won the second prize and 83 students won the third prize.
