In recent years, taking high temperature resistant elastic sealing device for Tienwen 1 Lander rover and the national flag displayed on lunar surface of Chang'e-5 as representatives ,WTU is committed to complying with the major national strategic tasks, holding on to the advantages in textile, material and other characteristic subjects, giving full play to the innovation capacity of high-end platforms in State Key Laboratory of New Textile Materials and Advanced Processing Technologies, breaking through series of key technologies, leading the scientific research and application of modern textile, super textile and big-size textile in biomedical filed, national defense, aerospace, energy-saving and environment-friendly and also smart wearable field. Our university will keep focusing on intelligent manufacturing, green manufacturing, creative manufacturing and realizing the combination of talent cultivation, scientific and technological innovation, complying with major national strategic tasks and industry development as well.
