WTU Students Achieved Good Results in Robot Innovation Competition

Recently, the third China University Intelligent Robot Innovation Competition was held as scheduled online, due to Covid-19 prevention and control measures. Under the guidance of Professor Xia Dingchun and Associate Professor Deng Zaihui from the School of Mathematics and Computer Science, eight students from the 1024 Robot Club, including Yang Haoran and Cheng Zhenrui, won the second prize.

The competition is for further popularizing intelligent robot technologies and each team competes with each other with autonomous robots assembled or made by themselves in accordance with the rules.

The School of Mathematics and Computer Science has set up a host of science and technology organizations best represented by the 1024 University Student Innovation Studio. With the help of students' science and technology activity platforms, students' comprehensive quality and practical ability have been cultivated through activities, training and competitions.
