WTU Students from School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation won the second prize of 2020 "Siemens Cup" China Intelligent Manufacturing Challenge Competition

In the national 2020 CIMC "Siemens Cup" China Intelligent Manufacturing Challenge held recently, Feng Yuhui, a student from Automation Class 11701 of the School  of Mechanical Engineering and Automation, won the second prize of Numerical Control Digital Twins - Virtual Debugging Competition.


"Siemens cup" China Intelligent Manufacturing Challenge is a national A-class competition under the framework of a strategic cooperation signed by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and Siemens, orienting the Chinese intelligent manufacturing engineering personnel training and selection, transformation and upgrade of the largest events, involving intelligent software and hardware tools development, intelligent product development, discrete industry and process industry factory automation intelligent control, intelligent network , digital in whole life cycle and other related technologies area, helping "Made in China 2025" with higher education and scientific research.Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, online matches will be carried out instead. Under the guidance of teachers such as Wu Yuchuan, Yan Xin and Ma Shuangbao, Feng Yuhui and Wang Siyuan studied the relevant knowledge of the competition earnestly and searched literature for the preparation for the competition. This is another fruitful achievement in our talent cultivation. We also hope that students of all majors can keep learning new knowledge and contribute to China 's intelligent manufacturing with our wisdom in the era of big data, information and automation.
