The 2019 Central and Eastern European Countries Belt and Road Education Summit Forum, sponsored by the Ministry of Education, was held in Romania , Czech Republic and Greece respectively. Participants included the Romanian President Klaus Johannes, the Education Ministers of Central and Eastern European countries, the Chinese Ambassadors to Central and Eastern European countries, Zhang Jin, Deputy Director of the International Department of Education, and representatives of nearly 100 universities in Central and Eastern Europe.

As a representative of outstanding provincial universities in China, WTU received a letter of invitation to the forum where her characteristics and splendor were fully demonstrated. Accompanied by the head of the international office, President Peng Yuyuan participated in "The 7th China-CEEC Education Policy Dialogue", "The 6th Meeting of China-CEEC Higher Education Institutions Consortium ", " The China-Czech University Presidents Forum" and " The China-Greece University Presidents Forum". What’s more, we have yielded fruitful results from making official visits to University of Novi Sad Serbia, University of Timisoara Romania，Czech Technical University ，University of Athens Greece, University of southeast Europe Macedonia, University of Lodz and Univerzitet Crne Gore.
