Exciting news has recently been released from the Organizing Committee of NECCS (National English Contest for College Students) that two WTU students , Yang Zijing and Zhong Tian, won the special prize. And other eight students including Hu Ziyang won the first prize.
The School of Foreign Languages has been attaching great importance to language-related competitions and encouraging students to apply what they have learned in the classroom to practice so as to enable students to perform better in various competitions.
It is reported that NECCS is the only comprehensive English language competency competition for college students. It is jointly organized by the College Foreign Language Teaching Steering Committee and the University Foreign Language Teaching Research Association. , it is in line with the National Program for Mid- and Long-Term Educational Reform and Development and has promoted the teaching standard of English as a foreign language in Chinese universities.
