A delegation led by professors Kiyoshi Nakamura and Toshiyuki Nakagaki of Hokkaido University visited WTU on May 17th at invitation and were warmly received by Wei Yiliang, Secretary of the Party Committee. Deputy Secretary Liu Zaizhou was also present and delivered a speech.
Liu began his speech by warmly welcoming all the professors from Hokkaido University. The two sides introduced the basic information of their universities and reached a consensus on such areas as subject development, scientific research and talent cultivation.
During the visit, professors from Hokkaido university delivered academic lectures to teachers and students of the School of Chemical Engineering as well as visited the laboratory and demonstration center of the school.
