On November 17, the closing ceremony of the " Seminar on Chinese Competition Policy and Law Enforcement for Developing Countries " was held in the conference room of Shangmei Building, Nanhu Campus of WTU, which is a national foreign aid project sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by WTU. The Chief of International Department and Director of the Foreign Aid Project Management Center, Ji Chen, reviewed precious moments of the Seminar with all students and talked about the future vision of cooperation. The ceremony was presided over by Zou Manling, Deputy Chief of the International Department and Deputy Director of the Foreign Aid Project Management Center.
The 21-day Seminar was attended by 21 government officials from six countries, including Trinidad and Tobago, Pakistan, Nigeria, Tajikistan, Suriname and Uzbekistan. The Seminar was carried out through themed lectures, visiting, cultural experiences and so on. In addition to curriculum of national conditions and economic trade taught by teachers from WTU, we also invited experts and professors from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) to give lectures on intellectual property protection, anti-monopoly, anti-dumping and so on. During the Seminar, students went to Yichang and Shenzhen to visit state-owned and private enterprises to experience the vigorous development of Chinese enterprises and the breakthrough of cutting-edge technologies. Meanwhile, students also participated in 2023 China-Nordic Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum and 2023 Conference on Overseas Chinese Pioneering and Developing in China held in Wuhan to comprehend and learn about the new measures and achievements of Hubei Province's opening up.
