On the afternoon of May 26^th, the opening ceremony of the China Portugal Textile Industry Cooperation Training Course and the Hubei Textile and Clothing Enterprise Promotion Conference, hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of China and undertaken by Wuhan Textile University, were held in Wuhan. Augusto Lima, member of Municipal Committee of Famalicon, Portugal, Tian Huiyu, Secretary of the School Party Committee, and Chen Wei, Director of the Foreign Economic Affairs Department of the Department of Commerce of Hubei Province, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Lu Jinyuan, Director of the Hubei Education International, Chen Hui, Secondary Consultant of the Foreign Economic Affairs Department of the Department of Commerce of Hubei Province, Anna Bella, Deputy Director of the Portuguese Ministry of Economy and Ocean Affairs, Bernard, General Secretary of the Portugal-China Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Professor Wang Xungai from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, as well as representatives from more than ten enterprises, including Wuhan Kingsrich International Trading Co., Ltd. Hubei Tianhe Cayee International Trading Co., Ltd. and 33 trainees of the seminar also participated the ceremony. The opening ceremony was hosted by Fu Xin, Vice President of Wuhan Textile University.

The Secretary of the School Party Committee, Tian Huiyu, met with guests from Portugal and had discussions and exchanges with Augusto Lima, member of Municipal Committee of Famalicon. Chen Wei, Director of the Foreign Economic Affairs Department of the Department of Commerce of Hubei Province, Augusto Lima, member of Municipal Committee of Famalicon, and Carlos Torres, General Secretary of the General Secretariat of the Portugal-China Chamber of Commerce & Industry, delivered speeches respectively. Both sides expressed the willing to take this seminar as an opportunity to seek cooperation in the field of textile and garment industry as well as cultural exchange, talent cultivation, foreign trade and international integration of industry, education and research.

Representatives from over 20 enterprises, including Wuhan Kingsrich International Trading Co.,Ltd and Hubei Tianhe International Trading Co.,Ltd., respectively introduced the development overview and internationalization development of Chinese textile and fashion enterprises to Portuguese trainees.
