Recently, the Research Institute of International People-to-People Exchange for Textile Industry, along with School of International Education and People-to-People Exchange Association, have gathered more than 50 international students from over 10 countries to take part in a series of visiting and learning activities with the theme of “Understanding China and Connecting the World”.

To learn the traditional Chinese dyeing and finishing techniques by visiting the Ingido Workshop
Lin Li, vice dean of the Research Institute of International People-to-People Exchange for Textile Industry, says that the original intention of hosting a series of activities like these is to enhance cultural exchange and tell Chinese stories well to the world with international youth as the main power. These activities provide an arena for international students to understand China and establish a solid relationship with Chinese students. Yi Hui, vice dean of the School of International Education, says that WTU is contributing youth’s force to enhance the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind by encouraging international youth to spread Chinese approach and Chinese wisdom to the world with cultural and technological feast as the carrier.
