On December 30^th, more than 40 international teachers and students from Wuhan Textile University were filled with the beautiful and joyful performance of Huangmei Opera in Wenmei Village, Dongshan town, Huangmei County. Everyone repeatedly raved: "Huangmei opera is so soft and sweet!"

On the occasion of the coming of the New Year, the Research Institute of International People-to-People Exchange for Textile Industry held its first special International People-to-People Exchange activity with the theme of "Witnessing rural Revitalization and promoting people-to-people exchanges" in Huangmei County, Hubei Province. over 40 teachers and students from more than 10 countries, including China, Russia, Ukraine, Ghana, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe, experienced the intangible cultural heritage of Jingchu -- Huangmei hand embroidery and Huangmei Opera, and visited Wanxiyan, Wanxixian Martyrs' Cemetery and Longgan Lake National Wetland Nature Reserve.  

Huangmei Country with the thousand years is known as the "hometown of Chinese folk culture and art". In recent years, on the basis of environment protection, Huangmei has found a unique road of rural revitalization through organic integration of ecological aquatic agriculture, tourism and textile culture industry. "Integrating the concept of ecological development into all aspects of rural construction will be not only benefit for the future generations, but also provide useful mode for the rural development of countries around the world."
