Would you please use only one sentence to briefly introduce our school so that we can better introduce WTU to students in our high school.” Some classrooms are not equipped with air conditioners, I'm wondering whether our school would consider to install more air conditioners? Recently, a special public elective course questions answering class with the president, which means students asking and the president answering, was held officially in the International Academic Lecture Hall of Wuhan Textile University.
On the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, we should study history harder and be diligent in action. A course has been sponsored by Xu Weilin, the deputy secretary and president of Wuhan Textile University and organized by the school office, college youth league committee, office of academic affairs and so on. This course is in the form of public elective course and is set to explore the development of school and confront the students. The course does not set the credits, and all of the students enrolled are allowed to choose the course and communicate with the president face to face. The course mainly consists of three parts: I respond when students call me, I reply what you ask me and I solve what puzzled students.
Xu pointed out that "students-oriented" is not a slogan but a standard must be implemented in every link of school work. Questions answering class with the president is not only an innovative form of education, but also a special general education course. Its purpose is not simply answering the questions raised by students, but more importantly helping students play the role of the main body in university governance and improving the quality of communication, interaction and feedback between students and school. In this way, school can know students’ suggestions on them and adjust faculties work timely with the final purpose of sticking to the fundamental task of strengthening moral education and cultivating people, instructing students to learn how to think and live and truly becoming student-oriented.
