After the fierce competition, the work "Smart China" finished by WTU students, and directed by the teachers from the School of Economics and the School of Mathematics, won the bronze prize in the 6^th China International College Students "Internet +" Innovation Competition, which is the best result for WTU students participating in this competition. China International College Students "Internet +" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Education and other 12 ministries and commissions and the People's Government of Guangdong Province. It is the most influential innovation competition covering all universities in China and facing all college students. This time the competition aimed to implement the spirit of the National Education Convention and attracted 6.31 million participants in total who are from 4186 universities in 117 countries and regions all over the world.

During the one-year preparation period, the leaders of WTU attached great importance to the competition and they have guided the organization work for many times. We have invited lots of famous teachers, "Internet +" competition experts, entrepreneurs, alumni and investors to hold several special training sessions, which effectively improved student's enthusiasm for innovation and entrepreneurship, and ensured the high quality of competition projects.
