Xu Weilin, the President of WTU, was appointed as a consultant expert for the National Advanced Printing and Dyeing Technological Innovation Center (NAPDTIC) at the Expert Seminar on Major Project Development organized by the Center in Tai'an, Shandong Province on the morning of November 10th.
"The textile industry is a pillar industry in our economy that can create new competitive edge for China." said Sun Ruizhe, President of China Textile Industry Federation. “It is urgent for us to upgrade technologies related to printing and dyeing as they are integral to the textile industry. This is where the Center comes in—to break through the bottleneck besetting printing and dyeing technologies via resource integration, collaboration and innovation.
As one of the 36 national key manufacturing innovation centers planned in accordance of the “Made in China 2025” industrial masterplan, NAPDTIC is the 17th established national manufacturing innovation center, which mainly focuses on building public R&D platforms and new carriers for the design and development of high-quality printing and dyeing products, new technologies in energy conservation and emission reduction, digital and intelligent equipment and green ecological standard for the textile industry. In so doing, we aim to turbo-charge the textile industry by making printing and dyeing greener, smarter and more technology-intensive.
