In the late spring of 2019, the WTU Fashion Week & Exhibition of Fashion Design Graduates’ Works, was held as scheduled at the Performance Hall of Nanhu Campus and attended by the heads of the School of Fashion Design as well as instructors of Class 11501--Guo Li, Nan Meiling, Zhang Hui and Hu Xiaodong

At the opening ceremony, Xiong Zhaofei, Party Committee Secretary of the School  of Fashion Design, delivered a speech, expressing his joy and expectations for the graduates' works as well as his gratitude to the instructors for their hard work before declaring the Fashion Week open.

With the theme of "evolution", this Fashion Week transcends the limitation of space, showcases the glamour of time, narrates classic design in the context of culture and history and displays fashion in self-evolution and creation. During this process, it seek to interpret beauty and realize the evolution of fashion. During the 13 shows which will last seven days, more than 400 graduates from the classes of Costume Art Design, Apparel Merchandizing, Knitting Costume Design, Image Design, Costume Plate Making, Costume Performance, Dress Show, Costume Design and other majors will present their well-designed works.
