The 2025 “Bright • Transform” Wuhan Textile University Fashion Week will kick off on March 24 at the performance hall in the School of Fashion on Nanhu Campus!

The theme of the 2025 graduation design is “Bright •Transform”

“Bright” signifies radiance and glowing, full of vitality and strength, representing the new life of things. It is internalized in the heart and expressed through form. “Transform” represents the natural cycles of growth in all things and the continuity of life; ‘Transform’ implies coexistence, revolution, integration, and dissemination. We gather the fire of youth to realize the energy of transformation. We confidently explore beginnings, continue our cultural lineage, explore the light of science and technology, and renew our approach to life. As we write a new chapter, we embody the essence of neon dresses, embrace transformation, and express fashion and beauty.

1. Design principles:

(i) Guided by originality, actively adopt unique design concepts and innovative process technologies;

(ii) Market-oriented, designing and developing commercial products in accordance with enterprise needs.

2. Design direction:

(i) Innovative multi-cultural fashion design;

(ii) Scientific and technological fashion clothing design;

(iii) Innovative functional fashion design;

(iv) Sustainable fashion design;

(v) Fashion design concept for a better life.

3. Fashion week is divided into three sub-themes:

(i) Traditional Culture and Fashion Reinvention;

(ii) Frontier Technology and Smart Fashion Manufacturing;

(iii) Sustainable Development and Fashion Creation.

Number of participating models: 124

The costumes for the fashion show include women’s wear, men’s wear, children’s wear and other categories

Total number of costumes: Approximately 1146 sets

The show will be held from March 24 to March 30. There will be one fashion show every day at 3:30 p.m.

Introducing the Fashion Week by the School of Fashion

The Fashion Week at Wuhan Textile University is a special campus cultural event organized by the School of Fashion for 20 years, serving as the main stage for showcasing the achievements in fashion design talent training. This year's event is deeply rooted in national emotions and harnesses the energy of science and technology. It continues the cultural context to cultivate the humanistic spirit, adheres to sustainable development while exploring design and manufacturing, and emphasizes the power of originality. The theme highlights the learning outcomes of students majoring in fashion and clothing design as well as fashion performance.
