Recently, the volunteer oath conference of the Seventh Military World Games was held in Hongshan Assembly Hall. Wang Yanling, member of the Standing Committee of Hubei Provincial Party Committee and minister of the Publicity Department, TANG Min, vice president of WTU, and representatives of the Communist Youth League Committee and student volunteers attended the conference. After the meeting, Tang Min, vice president, and heads of the School of Fashion and Design went to the rehearsal site of the opening and closing ceremonies of the MWG to visit volunteers. Leaders of Large-scale Activity Implementation Department of the Executive Committee of the MWG showed their appreciation to our school for the importance we attached to and support for the Military World Games, and gave full affirmation to the performance of our students.

Since receiving the work notice from the volunteer department of the CISM, WTU has paid high attention to this assignment and has set up a leading group. We actively cooperated with involved parties to select and assign volunteers, along with our efforts for better volunteer management and sufficient material supplement. We have selected 425 volunteers serving inside the competition sites, and more than 300 volunteers serving outside. They respectively served at opening and closing ceremony operation center, Women’s golf, cultural venues and Hongshan emergency center.
